Based on its knowledge of fibre composites, Comrod began to develop various products designed for extreme conditions. Production of whip antennas for fishing vessels began in 1960 on the basis of technology derived from the manufacture of fishing rods.
Since the early 1970s, the focus has been on developing and producing sophisticated antennas for the defence, commercial and maritime markets.
